Our Story

Meet Christine Liven Nagawa

Founder of Liven’s Tasty Treats.

Christine Liven Nagawa is a passionate baker, entrepreneur, and the visionary behind Liven’s Tasty Treats. With a deep love for creating delightful confections, she turned her passion into a thriving business, offering exquisite cakes, pastries, and desserts that bring joy to every occasion.

Her journey into the culinary world began after university when she pursued a professional culinary course, specializing in baking and pastry arts. Over the years, Christine has refined her skills through continuous learning, including hands-on experience and training under industry experts. With a background in culinary arts and extensive experience in baking, Christine has trained over 2,000 youth and women, equipping them with the skills to start their own businesses or improve their craft. Her impact extends beyond her business, as she has served as a mentor and project lead for the YELEP Business Venture Project and has spoken on various entrepreneurship platforms.

Christine is an alumna of multiple prestigious U.S. exchange programs, including the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) and the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE). Her commitment to entrepreneurship and skill-building earned her recognition as the winner of the ACE Foundation contest, further solidifying her role as an industry leader.

She is also an alumna of the Youth Empowerment and Leadership Entrepreneurship Program (YELEP) and represents entrepreneurs on different Boards, shaping her leadership and business acumen.

Beyond baking, Christine is a mentor and speaker on entrepreneurship platforms, sharing her insights on business growth and empowerment. She also leads culinary training workshops, helping aspiring bakers and chefs perfect their craft.

Whether it’s a beautifully decorated cake for a celebration or a simple treat to brighten someone’s day, her dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction shines through every creation.
